Sources and method
Every fact on a page comes from a source that was opened on the date shown on that page.
Where the facts come from
- The law of the country or region, or the page of its health authority or government, read in the original language and summarised in English.
- Where the official legal database could not be read automatically, a public copy of the same text is used. The page says so.
What is left out
A fact the source does not give is omitted rather than guessed, so a page may have no minimum age or no studio rule. A country whose text could not be read and checked has no page.
This site summarises what the text says. It is not legal advice and it is not the authority: the law in force decides.
